Government target for motorway electric car charging missed

Ian Plummer, Commercial Director of Auto Trader, the UK’s largest digital automotive marketplace, commented on news that the UK Government target for motorway electric car charging development in 2023 was missed:

The news that this key target set by the government has been missed is disappointing but solid progress is still being made on the public charging network as the UK continues to look towards an electric future. The charging community have pledged significant investment over the coming years to ensure consumers across the country have access to as many rapid charging points as possible.
