Manchester, 7th April 2025 – Saltburn local, Jane Grayson, was the lucky winner of a brand new Hyundai IONIQ 5 N worth over £65,000, in a national competition run by Auto Trader, the UK’s largest automotive marketplace.

The Auto Trader Car Hunt was a nationwide event, hiding 1,000 toy cars across 10 major UK cities. Anyone could win – all they had to do was find a toy car to be entered into a final prize draw.

On Thursday, Auto Trader revealed the lucky winner of the competition. “Oh my god – no way!” an excited Jane said. “Thank you, that’s amazing – Where’s the car?”

Delivered to her doorstep, Jane was quick to get behind the wheel of her new car and share her experience during the car hunt. “Because my son lives in Leeds, on Briggate. We were staying there, and he told me about the Auto Trader competition. He was Like ‘We’ve got to go out and find the cars!’ … It was just sitting at the bottom of a lamppost!”
