21st June 2022, London - In a week that brought wall to wall sunshine, millions of motorists took to the Auto Trader marketplace looking for a soft top.

Over the past seven days there were more searches for convertibles on Auto Trader, the UK’s largest automotive marketplace, than any other body type. In fact, there were over 2.4 million advert views for convertibles over the course of the week, which is a 5% increase on the previous week (w/c 6th June 2022).

The top 10 list of most in-demand soft-tops is packed with classic motors, from powerful premium roadsters, to nippy two seaters, and fun run-arounds. However, there’s one convertible that took the nation by storm last week – the iconic Porsche 911 was the most viewed convertible car on Auto Trader, ranking in an impressive 115, 224 views alone.
