Auto Trader bolsters audience reach with News UK partnership

1st March 2017 – London: Following a strong start to the year, during which it attracted c. 60 million cross platform visits in January, Auto Trader further strengthened its position as the UK’s largest online market place for new and used cars by expanding its partnership network to include News UK.

The partnership, which commences on 1st March, will see Auto Trader as the sole provider of car, bike and van search functionality on the publisher’s popular motoring websites, as well as providing readers with free valuations for their vehicles. Whilst January saw continued growth for Auto Trader in terms of visits, the new deal will significantly increase the reach of the brand through News UK’s considerable audience.

According to the latest figures released by comScore, News UK recently saw one of its core titles overtake the Mirror to become the second most popular news website in the UK; the first time since its paywall was removed in 2015.

For News UK, the partnership means it will be able to offer its readers best-in-class functionality and access to the largest marketplace of new and used vehicles.
