Auto Trader Headline Sponsors Chris Evans' CARFEST

Auto Trader is headline sponsoring both CarFest North and CarFest South 2019

  • CarFest North takes place 26th – 28th July at Bolesworth Estate, Chester, with CarFest South following a month later at Laverstoke Park Farm, Overton 23rd – 25th August

Auto Trader, the UK’s largest digital marketplace for new and used cars,  is the headline sponsor for this year’s CarFest, sponsoring the main stage and hosting an exhibition stand for visitors that showcases winners of the 2019 Auto Trader New Car Awards 2019.

The brainchild of radio presenter Chris Evans, CarFest takes place at Bolesworth Estate, Chester from 26th – 28th July and Laverstoke Park Farm, Overton between 23rd – 25th August. The events bring together major names from the motoring, music and food worlds, and will include track displays by British Touring Car Champion, Jason Plato and former F1 champion Jody Scheckter, on-track appearances from some of the most spectacular cars around, and the opportunity for major car manufacturers to showcase their latest models.

The Auto Trader stand will showcase a range of winners from this year’s New Car Awards and have experts on hand to talk to visitors about how to find their next brand-new car. Some of the winning cars on show include:

  • Peugeot 3008 – New Car of the Year
  • Toyota C-HR – Best Car for City Drivers
  • MINI Hatch – Most Fun Car to Drive
  • Jaguar F-TYPE - Car Brand with Best Features
  • Honda CR-V – Best Car Launched in the Last Year
  • KIA Sportage – Best Car for Towing

Ben Darby, Head of Marketing Communications at Auto Trader, said: “We’re proud to be sponsoring an automotive-inspired event that not only offers such variety for families over two big festivals, but also has a super track record of hugely benefiting children’s charities over the years.

“Attendees in both the North and South can learn more about Auto Trader’s brand-new car offering from experts on our stand, but as the headline sponsor we’ll also be sharing exclusive content on Auto Trader social channels for non-attendees throughout both events.”

CarFest was created by Evans in 2012 with the sole purpose of raising funds for UK children’s charities, and over the past seven years has successfully raised over £13.5million for BBC Children in Need.
