Auto Trader recognises exceptional customer service with Auto Trader Highly Rated 2020

Auto Trader, the UK’s largest automotive marketplace for new and used cars, will be helping retailers showcase their exceptional customer service this week, with the launch of its Auto Trader Highly Rated 2020.

Retailers across the UK who have been consistently recognised by their customers as providing an outstanding experience by rating them highly on Auto Trader will be receiving a collection of exclusive Highly Rated assets, including stickers and digital logos to promote their excellence across their physical and digital showrooms. What’s more, retailers meeting the criteria will also have a Highly Rated logo added to their Auto Trader profile page for maximum visibility.

To qualify for Highly Rated accreditation, retailers must have met the following:

  • a high volume of recent reviews on Auto Trader
  • a high overall review rating on Auto Trader
  • regular engagement with customer reviews by replying to them

Auto Trader Sales Director, Darren Moon, commented: Each year we like to take the opportunity to celebrate those retailers who really are going above and beyond to provide their customers with the very best buying experience. Even in normal trading conditions, to meet our strict criteria is a huge achievement, but it is especially so in today’s challenging retail landscape.

“We know the car buying experience can be stressful for some consumers, and now with social distancing anxieties adding to their concerns, it’s never been more important for retailers to be able to reassure potential customers of the quality service their business is able to provide. As one of the UK’s most recognised and trusted brands, we hope recognition from Auto Trader will help this year’s Highly Rated retailers stand out from competitors by building instant confidence with car buyers. We recommend retailers proudly showcase their achievement across their dealership and every other potential consumer touchpoint.”

To reach the maximum number of potential customers, Auto Trader will be showcasing the Highly Rated awards on its home page, including a rotation of 2020 winners, exposing their brand to millions of in market car buyers.

Retailers posting photos of their Highly Rated sticker on display in their dealership will have the chance to win a selection of prizes, as well as have their post shared with Auto Trader’s 400,000 followers on its consumer facing social media channels.

To qualify, retailers need to post from Wednesday 15th July to Sunday 2nd August 2020 and tag one of the Auto Trader Insight accounts on Twitter (@ATInsight), LinkedIn (Auto Trader Insight) or on its brand-new Instagram page (@autotraderinsight), along with the hashtag #ATHighlyRated.
