Nominations open for Auto Trader Click Awards

Auto Trader has launched its prestigious Click Awards for 2016 and has invited manufacturers and retailers to put themselves forward for the Awards.

This is the ninth year for the must-attend event in the digital retailing calendar and it takes place on Thursday 23rd June 2016 at the fabulous Grade II listed Banking Hall, in the heart of the City of London.

The Auto Trader Click Awards now feature ten awards in total and will be presented to manufacturers, supermarkets and franchised dealers that are able to demonstrate excellence in digital retailing. Nominations are now open, and entrants have until May 6th 2016 to enter.

There are three major Award Categories: Data Driven, Data Driven Retailer of the Year and the Self Nomination awards. The full list of awards is available to view at www.autotraderclickawards.co.uk

Nick King, Auto Trader’s Insight Director, comments: “Now in their ninth year, the Click Awards recognise digital excellence in today’s automotive marketplace. The internet has changed the way consumers buy and sell everything, including cars, so it’s important that retailers adapt to these changes in behavior and ensure that digital is at the heart of their business model. Retailers are and will continue to be an essential part of the industry, so we feel it’s important to recognise those that show real innovation and those whom operate as true digital retailers.”

The majority of awards will be made through a combination of consumer research, data and via an expert judging panel.

The judges appointed for the Auto Trader Click Awards represent some of the foremost digital brands that span a breadth of business sectors. They include Rightmove’s Sarah Brown, who is responsible for the brand’s consumer facing marketing activity, Dan Daly, Amazon Senior Manager, James Hayr, AOL Head of Branded Content and LinkedIn’s James Mooney, who has extensive experience with automotive advertisers. Also joining the panel is David Arkwright, founder of MEAT, a global brand consultancy who specialise in brand transformations for some of the world’s largest brands.

Entries can be submitted from March 29th 2016 with the last date for nominations May 6th 2016.
