Autotrader partners with Welsh government to help car buyers make environmentally friendly choices
Autotrader, the UKs largest automotive platform, has collaborated with the Welsh Government to promote green travel choices, helping drivers across Wales make more informed and environmentally friendly vehicle decisions.
As part of the collaboration, Autotrader has shared its electric vehicle expertise to support consumers considering the transition to electric with Autotrader’s guide to buying a used electric car.
Available in Welsh or English, Autotrader has also outlined an EV dictionary to make terminology clear and accessible, and to give consumers the tools they need to feel confident in making more environmentally friendly vehicle choices
The collaboration supports Autotrader’s environmental strategy, Putting the brakes on carbon, driven by the company purpose to ‘Drive Change Together. Responsibly.’ This commitment focuses not only on lowering emissions within Autotrader’s own operations and supply chain but also by using our capabilities and voice to influence the automotive and technology industries to support others in the transition to a low carbon economy.
Other projects working to do this include the cross-industry campaign Electric Cars: The Facts and the No Driver Left Behind: Bridging the EV income gap Report which aims to ensure an accessible and equitable transition for all.
Autotrader also provides Car Selling and Car Buying Dictionaries, available to help consumers as they navigate their vehicle purchase journey.
